I have no interest in seeing the movie. From what I've heard about the acting and writing, I don't think I would like it.

There were parts of it I was extremely bored and other parts that were good. What's sad though is that the real action in the movie doesn't happen until the last maybe 30 minutes if I stretch my imagination. Otherwise, it's nothing more than the games between Edward and Bella. Simi said the book was a lot like that as well. I can understand needing to make things 'difficult' between the two characters at the beginning, but 3/4 of it? Nope, not my kind of book. I want some action mixed in with that story line...

That's why I liked the parts with Jacob the best. Stuff happened besides Bella saying whining, "I want to be a vampire with you," and Edward saying he loved her but didn't want to do that to her. Not much more, mind you, but there was some action there. And I couldn't even tell you the difference between the second and third book they were so much alike.

That really bites. No, I definitely think these aren't my type of book to read. I'd be bored to tears or worse, it would finally push me that last little distance to insanity. Short trip, so don't wanna do that Simi said when they make the next movie, they're supposed to combine books 2 and 3 into one movie, so if they're so similiar, that may be why. Works for me but, it will again be one of those that I wait until it's out on DVD. No wasting the money to go to the thearter

Ok, I've read the whole series, so I'll tell a bit about them, mostly so I can remember what happened in what book XP
Twilight - Bella meets Edward and the Cullen family, who turn out to be vampires. The two fall in love and, after quite a while, they decide to be public with the relationship. However, after a tracker takes an intrest in Bella, they have to hide her. She's almost killed, but they all live and they come home.
New Moon - After several months, the Cullens decide it's time to leave Forks Washington. They can no longer pass as the age they claim to be, and suspician is rising. Edward leaves Bella, who falls into a state of emotionless depression for several months, until Jacob, an enemy of the Cullen's, becomes her friend. However, Jacob soon tells Bella that they can no longer be friends because he's dangerous. She's insistant on knowing the truth as to why, and discovers that he and a small group of others are werewolves. She gets to be good friends with them all. After a while, though, she jumps off a cliff (literally). Alice (who can see the future) Quickly comes back when she invisions this happening, but not the reason why. However, Roseilie, their adopted sister, has told Edward, who seperated himself from the family, that she has commited suicide and he goes to Vinice to ask the oldest known vampires to end his life. They have refused, but Alice sees that he will try to force them by exposing the vampire community to the humans. Alice and Bella rush to his rescue and make it just in time. They then meet with these vampires, and are allowed to leave on the condition that Bella becomes a vampire soon. When they return home, the Cullen family is waiting for them, and they make plans to change her after graduation the following year. However, Edward forbids Bella from ever seeing Jacob again, which she doesn't take well, and then refuses to turn her himself (Carlisle would usually do it, but she wants it to be Edward) unless he marries him.
Eclipes(sp?) - Things get a little rocky between Edward and Bella. Firstly, Edward still will not let Bella see Jacob, her best friend who is also a werewolf. Then, we still refuses to change her himself without being married. And finally, something that Bella really doesn't like, he refuses to have sex with her because he doesn't want to hurt her. Edward is upset with Bella because she refuses to accept any sort of gift from him. Never-the-less, the oddball couple remain together (somehow. She drags this part out instead of just throwing all on you, so you can kinda go 'ok', but when it's all bunched up like that, I would have dropped that boy faster than a chunk of hot volcanic rock) Anyways, Bella finally get Edward to let her see Jacob (By threatening to find a way to see him, then not coming back). Also by this time, the family has noticed an increased nuber of new born vampires around. New borns are still full of their human blood, so they're more powerful, but they lack the restraint of an older vampire, so thye kill at will and are sloppy. Back to the love-birds, Bella is still having a hard time trying to chooe between Jacob and Edward. They're both wonderful, and she really wants to stay with Edward, but Jacob tugs at her mind. She finally tells Edward she'll marry him, then tells Jacob everything. He is much less than happy. Well, they find out that the new borns are acctually an army created by the mate of the tracker that nearly killed Bella in the first book (you see her then, but then she disapears). The Cullens and the Wolves make a pact so that they can fight off the army together while not breaking the old pact. Things get more complicated from here. Let's just say, in the end, the bad guys are killed, the olest vampires (I can't remember their name for the life of me) come and finish the job, them complain about Bella still being human, and Jacob runs away.
Breaking Dawn - Edward and Bella are getting married!! Things between the wolves and the vampires are still shakey, but friends are being made. Jacob is still offically missing, but he stops by in the shadows to bid Bella good luck and a good eternal life. His friends have to haul him away when Edward jumps in, though. They don't like each other much... Anyways, the Newly weds are off to thier honey-moon (on a private island that Carlisle bought for his wife Esme, named Esme Isle)! While there, they attempt the sex thing. Poor Ed... You don't get to see the hot and heavy stuff, but when Bella wakes up covered in large, handshaped bruises, Edward says they won't sleep together again until she's a vampire. Bella throws a tissy fit. He then makes sure that she is kept very busy, and to exsausted by the end of everynight to even think of such a thing. He, of course, gives up this fight when she wakes up crying because she had a dream of them and it ended XP Dramatic much XP Anyways, not long after, she discovers that she's pregnant. In human terms, about one or two months pregnant. It's a shock to all, but since she was a virgin when they did it, Edward knows it's his. And he quickly makes plans with Carlisle to have it killed before it does damage. Once they reach home, Roseilie takes the definsive beside Bella to not have the child killed. It's a long and complicated process, but them men finally agree to abide by the girls' wishes ad let the baby grow. Jacob then comes back, finds out she's pregnant and dieing because of it, and nearly kills Edward. Suprise! Anyways, they find out how to keep her alive (By giveing her, you geussed it, lots and lots of blood) and they make plans to deliver the baby soon. There are, however, complications (there always are) and they need the baby out now, when Carlisle isn't there. The baby is torn out of Bella's stomach and she's quickly turned to a vampire. There's a full chapter, if I remember right, about the absolute pain that she went through, but couldn't move do to the morphine Edward had given her. When she wakes as a vampire, she just about kills Jacob because he's imprinted on her daughter, Renesme. (Meaning, they are soulmates. Just so you know, this was not his choice, just the luck of the draw) So, after that tif is settled, they get word from the older vampires (god what were they called?!?!?!) have learned about our dear Renesme and plans to bring an army to kill her because they believe she is an "Immortal Child," which are children turned vampire, but are still children prone to violent outbursts that destroy many human lives. (Poor kid, not even a few months old and already has a death sentance. At least she grows fast as in, after about two months, she looks like a five year old child, with the intulect of an adult) Anyways, Carlisle decides to gather up as many vampires as he can to stand against them so that, maybe, they'll listen to their explaination and not kill her. Alice and her mate Jasper leave to send more to them from farther south. A good 30-40 come to stand wittness, and many fall to Renesemes' charm and will stay to fight should it be needed. (Also, just so you know, the number of werewolves increases with the number of vampires in the area, so there are now about 20 now, but we don't find that out until the actual confrontation) You meet some pretty cool characters, and Bella learns to expand the sheild that she has over her mind that protects her from different mentally affecting abilities that some vampires posses. She learns to make it cover a large territory, basically. Anyways, the confrontation comes, they talk talk talk, they older guys aren't sure about Renesme, despite all of the evidance, then Alice and Jasper return with another Half-breed, then they leave. Everyone slowly starts leaving, then everyone lived happily ever after.
Tha end!
So, that's the series in a nut shell ^.^ So basically, you read the other books, so you can learn about things that are important in the last book. By the way, it's alot more interesting when you read it XP
I can't say I was all too thrilled with the Twilight movie. The acting could have been so much better, and they cut out all of the good scences and phrases that I liked so much. Yes, I do believe that they are combining Eclipse and New Moon because they are so alike, and pretty long and drawn out. Then, I hear that Breaking Dawn is going to be like 2 1/2 hours long ^.^ That's the one I'm eagar for ^.^
Thak you, Simi ^.^

I had a dream about the movie last night. Well, it just had the actor in it. It was kind of weird, but I liked it. I don't think people who liked Edward would like it, though.

Cool ^.^ I, personally, am on Team Carlisle ^.^ He's awesome, and his 'special ability' is his intense compassion towards others. That's why he decided, back, I'd say about, 400 years ago, he decided to drink animal blood instead of human, and why he can turn humans without nearly killing them. Not to mention, he's cute ^.^ He was about 25 when he was turned (They say something around that age in the book) which is one reason why they move in the second book. He looks to be in his early 20's and is trying to pass off as a 30-32 year old XP
Anyways, yeah, I don't like the actor they chose for him. He looks a bit to old, and his make-up made him way too pale. I know they were suppose to be really pale, but that was just too far, especially with his shade of hair. XP Oh boy, I really need to get my mind off the fashoin stuff for a while XP

Twilight was truly a good series, but it loses it's luster after awhile. By the way, has anyone figured out what exactly made the series so addicting to 4/5ths the population of the country?
