Maybe a help section and a member announcements board would be helpful(the help section could contain things like writing help, computer help and things like that if you get what I am saying.)

Maybe a help section and a member announcements board would be helpful(the help section could contain things like writing help, computer help and things like that if you get what I am saying.) I have an announcements board and anybody can make a thread in there, we have boards to help with writing and they're in the Writer's Corner Category, we don't need a computer help section because this is a writer's website, not a tech site, and again, if help is needed with writing, we have boards for that in the Writer's Corner Category. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. I'm a big stickler on keeping things on the site related to what the site is for. I have a wonderful relaxation corner where we can have fun, but the rest of the site will remain focused on what the site is for. *********************************** We used to have a thread for "Post a pic of yourself* It sat there for 2 months with only Julian posting a pic. If you really want to show pics of yourself, you're welcome to create a thread for that in your Journal and More board, but I can almost guarantee hardly anybody else will. There are several teenagers on here whose parents would be extremely upset if they knew their childs picture was on the website. So again, you're welcome to put yours in a thread in your board, but I'm not sure that it would be used by other members. After 2 months of nobody posting in the other thread, it was removed. Thanks for the suggestions though. Lann

Okies, another suggestion regarding the Journals boards, you should keep a constant, have moderators listed or not its looks sorta tacky with some boards having moderators listed on that and then no moderator in other of peoples journals.

The main board page does have myself, kitsune, and electra listed on the front. I don't need them on the individual boards for a couple of reasons. One, because members are allowed to post whatever they want in their board, the only thing a mod does is make sure it's site appropriate. Secondly, that board CANNOT be viewed by guests, so I don't need to put mods in it for appearance sake. I appreciate your suggestion, however I don't think it looks 'tacky' I work hard to make sure my site looks nice. I started to put mods on them, but they aren't really needed since those boards are whatever the board owner wants to put in them and I show who mods them on the main board. Now if I didn't show anything on the main board, I'd agree with you but that isn't the case...

Yes, I know. As I said, I started to put mods on them, then realized I didn't need them. However, if it bothers you and think it makes the site look tacky I'll remove them.

As I said, they couldn't even be viewed by guests, but it doesn't matter at this point. I've removed them. I do a lot of work on this site making it nice for my members. That's important to me. Although I do appreciate suggestions of value and I do encourage suggestions because members can sometimes think of something that I might not, saying some thing as mundane as that makes my site look 'tacky' rubs raw. Especially when I put so many hours into working on making the site nice. Sometimes when making boards, it's a habit to put a mod on the board, but again, those boards don't need a mod on them. But, neither here nor there. It's taken care of....

Yeah, Julian made it shortly after the site opened. Nobody ever posted a pic in it except for Julian.

Really? And your parents wouldn't get upset if you post your picture on a website? I know I would if my kids were posting their pictures. It just isn't safe if you know what I mean...
