Elvira clapped a hand over her mouth, chocking back her laughter. "Ok, I'll let you win this one, but only cause we're in a game, in reality I wouldn't give so easily."

Lycanthra turned around and looked at her with question ringing in his eyes, "What game?"

Elvira stared at him for a moment and then turned away with a shake of her head. "Never mind." She glanced around the city as it burned. It was eerily silent now that most of the villagers had left and the quiet was unsettling. Elvira flicked her wings apprehensively, not liking it at all.

"No, tell me," Lycanthra said, catching her by the shoulder.

Elvira gave him a peeved glare, "It's nothing," she said again but when he didn't let go her gaze fell to the ground and she shrugged, "I just, I hear a voice sometimes that..knows whats going to happen, and this whole thing feels like some game and we're..the characters." She stayed looking at the ground, feeling like a complete idiot.

Lycanthra laughed histarically, "you didn't know?!" he asked, breathlessly, "you really didn't know?"

Elvira turned to him and glared, "What are you laughing at?" She didn't get what he found was so funny and it wasn't all that amusing to her. Although she was glad that at least he wasn't angry. She could deal with his laughter a lot better than his anger. Still she wasn't happy that he was laughing at her. She crossed her arms over her chest and watched him, confused. "Why are you laughing at me?"

Lycanthra wiped a tear from his eye, "oh, nothin, just..." he trailed off and began laughing again. Through tears, he looked at her, placing his hand on her shoulder, "you're pulling my leg, right?"

Elvira was beginning to wonder if he was going insane. Well, more insane than he already seemed to be. She frowned and looked at him, confused. "What are you talking about Ly?" She really didn't get what he was talking about and what he found so funny. Now she was more confused than anything else. She crossed her arms over her chest and her wings flicked in and out some. "Would you care to explain it to me?"

Lycanthra stopped laughing and eyed her suspiciously, "It is a game..." he began, beginning to laugh once more, "...and we are the characters. I hear a similar voice." he smiled reassuringly, "don't worry, you're not crazy."

(Long time no see, ^_^, How has your summer been?)
Elvira eye'd him suspiciously for a moment but in the back of her mind Elizabeth was laughing at her. Haha little Elly, it seems I forgot to tell you that tid bit.. Elvira felt like punching the voice but it was useless. She looked back at Lycanthra, "Are you serious? Your not just pulling my leg as some sick joke?" She felt a bit better knowing she wasn't the only one with a voice, but he could just be joking with her.

Lycanthra simply smiled wickedly and turned around, " we should probably keep going instead of arguing over things that may or may not be true...." he looked towards the tower at the center of the city, "he should be there..." he muttered, "come on, Elvira, we got a date with the devil."
((back at you, is been good))

(Awesome. ^_^)
Elvira rolled her eye's and smiled slightly as she followed beside him. "Oh haha Ly, very original of you." She said, teasing him lightly as she glanced around the city. For all her play she was still a bit on edge. Going after the Devil himself wasn't exactly the greatest plan in the world, and part of her hoped he wouldn't even be here any longer. Too bad that was never how things went. Her wings fluttered behind her as she became more and more nervous. The city had grown quiet, there weren't even screams any more.
