My favorite books come from Sherrilyn Kenyon. She write paranormal/romance novels. They are about Dark Hunters that are sort of like vampires, only they don't drink blood. They actually hunt the bad vampires called Apollites who are descendants of the curse race of Apollp's children. They have a choice to either die at age 27 or become vampires. Those that choose to become vampires are hunted and destroyed by the Dark Hunters. Later, I will tell you more about how the Dark Hunters came to be

Isnt he? My gosh, I think that its amazing how he pieces everyone of his books together like that. He takes everyones worst fear and makes it become reality. Its so strange... Stephen Kings The Shining (the remake) is my favorite horror movie that he's made. Now Im scared for life from bathtubs. xD

You know, strangely enough, I haven't ever seen The Shining. I was always a chicken when it came to horrors, but now I watch them, so I may have to watch it

I love Stephen king! In my english class we have to read a bioghraphy so i choose him! My favorite thing he has said in my book is "Naturally ill try to scare you first, and if that doesnt work ill try to horrify you. Then, if that doesnt work either, ill just try to gross you out" Funny!
My favorite author is Tamora Peirce. She writes fantacy such as, The Protecter of the Small, The Alanna seires, Trickstiers choise, The Immortals, and many many more!

That sounds like a pretty good writer. I haven't ever read any of her books, but I'll have to check them out ;D.
I have a topic for discussion here that Gidget kind of started. Have you ever thought about what it would be like to see a book YOU wote produced as a movie?
I've thought it would be awesome! But my main question would be, what makes a book a good movie? Obviously, the plot would have to be interesting, although, I've seen some made into movies that I can't understand why they would put it into a movie, but still, somebody must have liked it. What do you think it takes to make a good book into a movie?

..well... this is kinda odvise... and smartalliky... An author that will let them turn it into one! ;D now that i got that out, i think it might be the graphics, and how popular the book was, cause i wouldnt want to go to see a movie based on a book i had never heard of.

But then I have to ask. Have all the movies you seen that were based on books, had you heard of all the books BEFORE the movie came out saying it was based on a certain book?

Once you've heard a movie was based on a book, do you read it? If so, before or after you've seen the movie. I've read a book after seeing the movie and before, but I always find it more disappointing. I was told the movie Eragon leaves out a LOT of the stuff that is in the book, but I haven't read that yet....or seen the movie for that matter ;D
