Elvira's breathing, fast and irregular, should have given it away. Her eye's were wide and she knew her pupils were dilated to the point that Lycanthra probably couldn't see their color. He had run so fast that her feet had lifted off the ground! It had felt like flying. She stared at him, "What did I think? That..." her voice shook and she cleared her throat, looking away from him toward the monster. When she turned back to him a huge grin was spreading across her face, and her eye's were shining with happiness. Elvira knew she was babbling but she couldn't help it. "That was amazing! Your amazing! So fast...oh gosh....how on earth did you...oh WOW..Can we do it again?!"

Lycanthra laughed out loud at her reaction, "No, I think we should take care of that first," he said, pointing towards the monster.
It was a hellish creature, with two sets of eyes, a large hideous beak covered in the blood of people unimportant to this RP. Its body sprung forth from its neck like an explosion of flesh, the thing was more of a blob than anything else. Several undersized feet, similar to that of a crab or an insect's held the beast barely above ground level and multiple fleshy tendrils whipped about like snakes, snatching up pedestrians as the creature lumbered forward.
Lycanthra grabbed Elvira by the shoulder and teleported to the ground, holding her steady so she didn't fall (the effects are dizzying to those not used to such a thing) he spoke to her in a low voice, "You make the first move."

Elvira shook her head to clear it. She gave him a harmless glare, "A little warning next time maybe?" Then she turned toward the monster and watched it for a moment, scrunching up her nose.
Elizabeth gave the Voice a reproachful look. "Well, what on Earth was going through your mind when you created that?"
Elvira ignored her and turned her attention back to the creature. She would leave the actual attcking to Lycanthra this time, she decided.
Drawing upon a portion of her magic Elvira incased the monsters many legs in vines as thick as an old oak tree to stop his forward movement. On second thought she also shot a vine around his beak as well, but she knew it wouldn't hold for long. The monster roared angrily but couldn't move any closer to them. That didn't stop it from shooting a tendril at them though. Elvira grabbed Ly's wrist much like he had grabbed hers when he had run them over here and jumped into the air. She hung from the side of the roof with Lycanthra dangling beside her for a moment. The tendril retreated, then shot up at where they hung on the wall. Elvira impaled it with thorns and the creature shrieked in pain. She let go of the wall, falling to the ground and they both landed lightly on their feet.
Not very impressive manuvering on your part, Elizabeth commented and Elvira sighed in agreement.
Satisfied that the creature was somewhat less of a threat, she quickly bowed to Lycanthra and gestured grandly toward the angry beast, which at that moment was pulling back another tendril to shoot at them.
"It's all yours." she teased. Lycanthra seemed to have so many tricks up his sleeve that she was seriously excited to see what he would do with the creature.

Lycanthra flashed a psychotic smile, disappearing as he did. He reappeared a few inches from the creature's snout and kicked it hard in the nose. The beast roared, snapping through the vines around its beak and legs, it reared and struck at Ly's previous location. Its mighty tendrils slashed at thin air, as Ly was already at its stomach, peircing it slightly in a few places, the behemoth corrected it's attack, but Ly was gone again.
This happened for quite awhile, Lycanthra teleporting madly about the beast as the creature failed to keep up. Finally, Ly changed tactics, appearing several yards in front of the monstrocity, and dashed forward. The beast screeched as it sent all of its many tendrils to apprehend the elf, but Ly simply teleported around them, scraping along them with his claws. As he neared, he snatched up a fallen warrior's axe from the ground, teleporting beneath the creature, he hurled it upward, teleported again, ran for a few feet and flitted to the air space far above the creature. He deftly caught the axe, and doing a series of graceful flips, and sent it back down much faster then it had been originally traveling. In one final teleportation, he flitted a few feet in front of the beast, arms crossed and smirking. The beast took one mighty step towards him and roared, it's tendrils shot toward Ly with intense force. But not as intense as the flipping axe that came careening through the creature's skull about that time. A deafening crack filled the air as the creature's massive head was thrown to the ground and slipt in two. The force of the creature's head striking the earth shook the ground and creating a rather large crater, throwing lots of dust into the air.
When the dust finally cleared, all that could really be recognized from the monster's head was its massive beak, laying in two peices infront of the mound of bloodied flesh and splintered bone fragments that used to serve as the rest of the creature's head. The thing's body lay motionless behind the carnage, mostly untouched, save the places that were cut open by Ly's claws which were bleeding slightly and the beast's mangled neck, which wasn't in much better shape than the head.
Lycanthra walked calmly back to Elvira and silently studied his latest work, smiling.

Elvira grinned, Lycanthra looked truly pleased with his work, and frankly she felt it was quite spectacular as well. She stared at for a long moment and then shrugged her shoulders. "Loved the piece with the axe." she commented, and then as the towns people began to crowd around the beast she turned back to Lycanthra and her grin widened in excitement. "Can you take me running again? That was the funnest thing I've ever done."

Lycanthra raised one eyebrow, "Are you sure? I was taking it slow for your benefit," he laughed and looked around, a crowd was gathering, and he really didn't need that sort of attention, "Which way?" he asked, holding out his hand.

Elvira glanced around as well, noticing his wary look. She understood that he didn't want everyone to know all that he could do, so she led him to one of Capitol City's exits. She looked around at the surrounding countryside and noticed a mountain not too far away. She grinned and pointed up to it. "How about we see the view of Capitol City from up there?"

Lycanthra rolled his eyes, " How did I not see that one coming?" he smiled and glanced around again, "Fine, but I'm going to go as fast as I can this time, alright?"

Elvira's grin couldn't grow any wider. She'd loved the feeling that came the last time Lycanthra ran with her and the thought of him going faster only strengthened her excitement. "Ok. Ready when you are."

Lycanthra grabbed hold of her wrist once more and shot towards the mountain intigrating his teleportation to dodge trees and rocks they were there in a few seconds. Lycanthra stepped behind Elvira and gently opened her tightly closed eyes and turned her head to look at the capital city, which was now just a colorful speck in the counryside.

Elvira gasped, not believing that she was really seeing Capitol City from so high. She hadn't expected the teleportation that was added in so she had unintentionally closed her eye's, but Elvira made a promise to herself that she would never let that happen again. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing and it took her breath away.
"This is amazing! I don't think I'll ever get used to it." She grinned, "I understand why you love it so much, what I wouldn't give to be able to go that fast.."
She hadn't realized just how disconcerting it would be to see from such a diffrent perspective so quickly. She laughed and hugged Lycanthra, her excitement building as she stared around herself. She spun out, her arms swinging and vines whipping out of the ground to lift her up higher and then bring her back down again. The vines swirled crazily, reflecting her feelings and she grinned over at Lycanthra, mischief sparking in her eye's.
She looked around at the forest and then had a sudden idea as to how they could get back down, but she would wait to see if Lycanthra had anything else he wanted to do up here.

Lycanthra almost fell down with the hug, he made a mental note not to let her do that again. Her magic was bursting forth out of control, it seemed to mirror her current emotions... this made Lycanthra wonder if even she had a full understanding of what she could do.
"Probably not," voice answered his silent wonderings, Lycanthra just nodded slowly as he sat down, resting his head on the snow beneath him.
"So now what?" he mumbled, blocking the sun from his eyes with his hand.

Elvira looked down the mountain again, wondering if her idea would even work. She whipped her strongest vine and sent it towards the nearest tree. It wrapped around the branches and stayed there when she gave it a good yank. Satisfied, she turned back to Lycanthra.
"Well, I have an idea of how we can get back down, it's not as fast as your way, but it would be fun."

Lycanthra opened one eye and caught sight of the vine and smiled a crooked smile, "What did you have in mind?" he asked, pulling himself up off of the ground and dusting the snow off of him.

Elvira took his hand and lead him over to the vine. She frowned, "I'm still figuring out the kinks but I thought we could ride the vines all the way down."
She pulled on the vine, testing it, her mind in a whirlwind as she tried to sort out what exactly she wanted to do with it. Then an idea hit her. Elvira smiled, lifting up more vines she connected them to tree's all the way down the valley with the last one next to the city gate. She had a small trick up her sleeve that she would wait to unveil until the last moment when they reached the gate.
Turning back to Lycanthra she handed him a thick vine with small, dull thorns on it and then grabbed her own. Walking up to the taught vine in the tree she looped her smaller vine around it and gripped tightly, using the small thorns to keep her hands from sliding and then she turned back to Lycanthra.
"Ok, its not half as interesting as your running, but it's what I do. We'll slide down these vines, and hopefully," She grinned," the vines are high enough from each other that we can jump from one to the other all the way down." She frowned slightly, "Did that make any sense?"
