How goes life in the asylum? My straight jacket is itchy, which sucks since I can't reach it to scratch...*pouts*
Crazy, I was crazy once They put me in a padded cell I died there and turned into a flower the wind would blow and I'd sway right and left, right and left It drove me nuts! Nuts, I like nuts! Except for peanuts, they drive me crazy! Crazy, I was crazy once...

Hey Nancy! Yeah, I noticed! Where be your long hair!! *cries* HI!!! How goes life in the asylum? My straight jacket is itchy, which sucks since I can't reach it to scratch...*pouts* Crazy, I was crazy once They put me in a padded cell I died there and turned into a flower the wind would blow and I'd sway right and left, right and left It drove me nuts! Nuts, I like nuts! Except for peanuts, they drive me crazy! Crazy, I was crazy once... Ok, it is official. She's nuts!! NEWS OF THE DAY! Joshua is leaving for Job Corp Tuesday the 25th at 10:20 a.m. We have to be at the airport by 9:20 a.m. which means we'll probably be there by 8:30 just in case! All my bags are packed I'm ready to go I'm standing here outside your door I hate to wake you up to say goodbye! But the taxis waiting He's blowing the horn Already I'm so lonesome I could cry! So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go!!!! Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe I hate to go! Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane! I don't know when I'll be back again....... Ok, so I'm seriously pathetic, but for some odd reason that song popped into my head when I learn my son would be leaving. Naturally, minutes before learning that, I got a phone call from my oldest son who I've told you about in previous conversations about him living in a group home in San Angelo because he has Bi-Polar (Manic Depressive seriously bad) Asperger's Syndrome which is a higher functioning form of Autism, and Severe ADHD, plus is classified as mildly mentally challenged, plus is blind in his left eye and going blind in his right eye, so yeah, him, David. He is almost 22. Well, I got a call from him minutes before getting the call about Josh leaving that he is sitting in jail! And why? Because he had another outburst at his Dayhab program and attacked Staff and Peers, biting and hitting. So the police arrested him on assault. He has a $1000 bond, which his case manager says he has the money for, but they need him to stay in jail until he sees the judge because he has become too violent for them to take care of anymore. So, when he sees the judge, he will court order them to put David into a State facility, which we have one that is only 5 miles from the house, so I hope they can bring him to this one, but it all depends on if they are equipped to handle his level of care. But, this wasn't the first incedent this month, yet this is the first time I've heard about any of it. Last week he went AWOL from dayhab twice. The first time when they found him, he started throwing flourescent lightbulbs at everybody, which is dangerous because they have a chemical inside of them that can hurt a person. The second time, he apparentely has access to all of his money whenever he wants, so he went to like a pawnshop and purchased a BB Pellet gun and shot BB's at the Dayhab's door, and then two weeks ago, when a peer wouldn't move fast enough, he tried spraying diluted bleach water in their eyes. And people wonder why I can't have him living at home. This is the same thing we had when he lived with us, only he head bashed me and broke my nose, and he was only 13 at the time. I love my son and I feel guilty I can't take care of him at home, but there is now way I can handle that kind of violence. They have staff that is there to help with these situations and even they admit they can't take care of him anymore. He's just too big. He's 6' 5" and about 180 lbs of strength when he has his violent fits. And it triples when he has them! So there is little I can do. He called me wanting me to bail him out of jail, but when I heard what all happened, I had to agree with his case worker that he needs a state facility at this point. There is nowhere else for him to go. *sighs* And I wonder why I live with a headache.... And to top that all off, we've learned we're going to have to move. Oh yippee! Can my life get any better?
