Ancient Black and Gold Clan
This ancient clan is the oldest and strongest of all dragon clans. Their ability to manipulate the elements is phenomonal creating strong storms when angry, peaceful sunsets when everthing is going well. They are the dominating dragons and their rule is absolute. Powerful, they don't take flack from anybody and could destroy a weaker opponent without a second thought. They are protective of family and friends, loyal without question, and protect their clan from intruders.

Ancient Black and Crystal Clan
This is the weakest clan of all the ancients. Their ability is to communicate with animals. They can actually speak to them and understand what they are saying, just as they can understand foreign languages without needing to study them. They are usually negotiators in disputes, especially between clans from different countries. They are mild mannered, very slow to anger, patient to the point of being downright annoying. They adore their younglings as do all dragons, love to teach others about the animals in our world, and are protective of all things nature.

This clan is unique in that they can manipulate any form of water, whether it is the weather or the ocean. They are calm and peaceful, use the water as easily as they do their personal fire. They are loyal and protective of their clan and are quite often used if there is a fire in their community.

Ancient Black and Red Clan
This ancient clan is unique in that they can manipulate the hottest fires pulled from the hottest places of the earth, and usually live near volcanoes. Since they can manipulate such hot fire, they make the material used for clothing (when they live in their human form) home furnishings, and anything that must be protected from the natural fire used by any of the dragons. Additionally, they make most of the weapons since they can heat the fires to manipulate the metals used to make them. They are craftmakers, hot tempered and obstinate. They don't like to be told they are wrong, but they are still loyal to their clan and protective.
