Lycanthra cocked one eyebrow, "Not really, but let's give it a go, shall we?" he smiked as he looped his vine around big one, not relly bothering to get a good grip. He lookd at Elvira, waiting for her to take the lead.

Elvira grinned and pushed off, but swung herself out as she did. Elizabeth whooped happily as she realized what Elvira had in mind. She had connected the vines in such a way that the angle was extremely steep and by swinging herself as she fell Elvira was literally spinning around the vine. It added an extra thrill as the tree's rushed by her and her adrenaline was so high that she could see every detail as the world spun out around her in dizzying circles.
Elvira felt a mirthful laugh bubble up her throat and burst out almost like a shriek as she reached the end of the vine and at the last second instead of slamming into the tree's many branches she just let go of one end of her thorny vine and dropped away from the tree and onto the next. As she passed the next vine she whipped her thorny one around it and spun out again wondering if Lycanthra was behind her. She turned her head to look behind her and see.

Lycanthra stood on the mountain, watching as Elvira plummeted in her little thrill ride, shaking his head as she did. "This is how it should be done," he smirked as he stepped back and lept high into the air, missing the vine and instead soaring twenty or thirty feet above it and lapsing into a free fall. Lycanthra spread his arms out and shot towards the vines like a bullet, wrapping his thorned vine around them at the last moment. This chain of events sent him sliding across the vines far faster than Elvira. In addition to this, he began to swing from side to side. Sending him into crazed loops as he closed the distance between himself and Elvira.

Elvira gasped and Elizabeth smirked as Lycanthra gained on her fast. When he reached her she stuck her tongue out at him, "show off" she taunted, knowing full well that he had done it soley so that she would know he could. Then Elvira let go of her vine early and shot towards the next to keep him from getting in front of her. They were nearing the bottom and she wanted to be in front when her surprise began.

Lycanthra stopped swinging as Elvira lept to the other vine. It was clear that she wanted to be in front of him for this little ride. Lycanthra half smiled, "So it's a race you want, is it?" he shouted ahead to her.
"Do you ever full-smile?" Voice asked,
"I don't know, do I?" Lycanthra retorted, rolling his eyes.
"Touche" Voice muttered.

Elvira grimaced, great, she thought to herself, he thinks I want to race him. She sighed and then shrugged. Oh well, she thought, at least this will get interesting. She put on an extra burst of speed, swinging faster, her loops wider hoping to put as much distance between herself and Lycanthra. "No teleporting!" She yelled, wanting him to get creative.

Lycanthra rolled his eyes, "Where's the fun in teleporting?" he muttered to himself as he swung in another loop, releasing his grip on the vine. He soared smoothly and caught the vine again, landing a few feet behind Elvira.

They were almost to the bottom now, and Elvira felt a smile tug at the edges of her mouth. Lycanthra's jump had positioned him at just the right spot. A moment more and the vine ended forcing them both to jump high into the air to avoid hitting the tree. As they began to descend Elvira let her power gush from her fingers to the earth and in the blink of an eye a huge oak tree shot out of the ground, a web of vines spiderwebbed the top to create a tampoline of sorts. They picked up speed as they fell and Elvira tilted the tree just right so that when they hit the vines they would be shot straight over the city walls back into Capitol City.

Lycanthra landed on a rooftop in a crouching position. He blinked in a delayed surprise to what had just occured. He looked over to where Elvira had landed, "What the hell was that?" he demanded.

Elvira's grin widened. "You have so many cool abilities, I thought I'd get creative and use my meager abilities to make up for it." She shrugged, a frown touching her face.
"Was your "what the hell was that?" a good "what the hell was that?" or a that was so stupid I have to ask why you did it "what the hell was that?""

Lycanthra Held up his hands, "I'm still deciding," he glanced back at the large oak tree that now dominated the horizon and breathed a laugh, "You call that meager?"

Elvira too turned to look at the tree. She tilted hr head, contemplating what he'd said. Maybe meager was the wrong word, she thought to herself, but at the same time, making a tree sprout out of the ground didn't seem half as fascinating as all the things Lycanthra continually showed her.
" I guess not." She grinned again, "But it was definetly fun."

Lycanthra looked Elvira dead in the eye, "All I can do is run, jump, and change into a wolf, Elvira, you have the ability to control the very fabric of this world. The basis of life as we know it is at your fingertips, and you're standing in awe of my ability to move quickly," he turned away, calming himself. He knew that he was making a big deal of this, but he couldn't help it.

Elvira stared at him, her mouth agape, eyes wide. He was mad, but it made no sense to her. She flexed her fingers, staring down at them with a new light. She reached her arm out in front of her and let her power flow down to the tips of her fingers, willed a small rose to bloom from a patch of soil that never should have been able to sustain a plant.
"You make your abilities seem so unimportant Ly." she whispered, "but you have so much power, I can feel it, there's more to you than the running, and jumping and shapeshifting."

Lycanthra shook his head as he kneeled down to the rose, " But that's just it Elvira, my abilities are unimportant," he paused and gently picked the rose, smelled it, and handed it to her, "So it's what we do with our abilities that makes the difference," he he finished, walking past her and into a nearby inn without a further word.
